Production Associate, 1st shift & 2nd Shift at Spring Valley – Jackson, Wisconsin

From our 8 blending locations and multiple shipping locations, we serve a wide variety of customer markets including distributors, co-ops, and retailers throughout the United States and internationally. Our Jackson WI plant is eagerly seeking Production Associates to join our team!

Responsibilities include:

• Stacking 50lb bags on pallets & wrapping pallets for shipping
• Mixing/blending material for fertilizer and ice melter
• Running and monitoring machines to ensure safety and efficiency
• Operating a forklift to move pallets between buildings.
• Operating a front end loader to transport bulk materials
• General cleanup of work areas
• Miscellaneous projects as needed (inventory, grounds keeping, etc)

Pay & Perks:

• $18.00-$20.00+ per hour starting pay based on experience.

• Previous experience and comfortability in forklift operation, including stacking pallets 2-3 high is a plus!
• Ability to follow written & verbal instructions
• Ability to work 1st Shift (6:00am-2:30pm Monday-Friday) OR 2nd Shift (2:15pm-12:45 am Monday-Thursday). Seasonal overtime available
• Willingness to support continuous improvement initiatives
• The ability to keep accurate records and follow procedures
• Pass a post-offer drug screen
• Reliable transportation to get to and from work
• Ability to lift 50 lbs comfortably

This position will require sitting, standing, walking, lifting 50lbs, stooping, climbing, seeing, hearing, reaching, reading, tolerance to cold or warm temperatures based on the weather conditions outside.
