Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2 PM – 6:00 PM (20 hours/week)

A warm and busy family based in Nashville is seeking a dependable and caring afternoon nanny to support their two children, ages 5 and 8, during the after-school hours. The family is looking for someone who is reliable, engaging, and able to bring structure and positivity to the children’s afternoon routine.
This is a great opportunity for a nanny with a few years of experience who is looking for a consistent, part-time role with potential for additional hours over time.
Key Responsibilities:
- School pick-up and safe transportation to home or activities
- After-school snack preparation and supervision
- Supporting homework and early learning activities
- Engaging children in structured play, outdoor time, and creative activities
- Coordinating playdates and extracurricular schedules as needed
- Ensuring a safe, positive, and structured after-school environment
- Light communication with parents regarding daily updates
- Children’s laundry and organization
- Tidying play areas and children’s rooms
- Packing school bags, snacks, and activity items
- Light kitchen clean-up after children’s meals/snacks
- Keeping children’s schedules and belongings organized
- Minimum of 3+ years of recent childcare experience, including at least 1 year in a professional nanny or private household caregiver role
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Reliable personal vehicle with current insurance (IRS mileage reimbursement provided)
- Current CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain prior to start
- Minimum age: 21 years old
- Fluent in English; Spanish language skills are a strong plus
- Non-smoker
- Up-to-date TB and Tdap vaccinations
- Must be a U.S. citizen or hold valid work authorization/visa documentation
- Ability to successfully complete a comprehensive criminal background and reference check
- Available to begin by June 1, 2026
- Must be based locally
