Scheduling Coordinators play a vital role in ensuring patients can access the care they need at YVFWC. By managing high‑volume scheduling activities, verifying patient information, and coordinating appointments across care teams, this position supports smooth clinic operations and continuity of care.

Position Highlights:
1.0 FTE (40 hours per week)
$18.47-$22.62/hour DOE with the ability to go higher for highly experienced candidates
Additional pay for your bilingual skills, paid on hours worked

What You’ll Do:
Manage the scheduling phone queue and schedule patient appointments according to provider guidelines and clinic needs
Verify and update patient demographic, insurance, and eligibility information at the time of scheduling
Communicate appointment changes, cancellations, and rescheduling information to patients
Manage scheduling work queues, including cancellations, no‑shows, recalls, and waitlists
Assess patient needs and coordinate scheduling with Patient Benefits Coordinators as appropriate
Provide outreach calls and backup support to front office teams as needed
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
One year of experience in an office, administrative, patient care, call center, or customer service role
Bilingual (English/Spanish) speaking skills required at a level 9
Experience scheduling appointments in a healthcare or call center setting is a plus
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast‑paced environment
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with patients, providers, and staff
Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word and Excel
