Develop and execute comprehensive strategies that integrate both program design and membership growth, aligned with NABA’s mission, vision, and values.
Lead high-performing teams in program development and membership engagement, providing coaching, mentorship, and professional development opportunities.
Collaborate with senior leadership team as an institution leader, framing the strategy and execution for the company.
Foster a culture of learning, innovation, and continuous improvement within program and membership teams.
Program Design & Oversight (25%):
Lead the conceptualization, design, and implementation of new programs, initiatives, and projects, including conferences and conventions.
Partner with sales to translate donor intent into successful programming for our members.
Ensure programs are impactful, relevant, and aligned with organizational priorities and member needs.
Identify opportunities for growth and innovation in programming and chapter relations.
Oversee program execution, risk management, and compliance with regulations and standards.
Membership Growth & Engagement (25%):
Lead all aspects of membership growth, engagement, and retention, defining membership categories and value propositions for each segment.
Lead the redefinition of a membership driven organization and define a clear value proposition relevant for today.
Design and roll out initiatives that drive membership acquisition and satisfaction, leveraging technology and data for tracking and reporting.
Partner with marketing to develop campaigns that communicate membership value and drive engagement.
Analyze membership trends and outcomes to ensure strategies are effective and targets are met.
Represent NABA to all membership categories, actively monitoring and addressing member concerns.
Operational Excellence (25%):
Allocate resources (budget, staff, technology) effectively across programs and membership initiatives.
Establish metrics and benchmarks to measure effectiveness and impact of programs and membership strategies.
Provide regular reports and presentations to the executive team, board, and funders on performance, accomplishments, and future plans.

REQUIRED JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience Requirement(s):
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
8+ years of experience in program management and membership strategy, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
Proven success in leading teams, achieving growth targets, and driving organizational change.
Exceptional strategic thinking, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision-making.
Commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and NABA’s mission.
Ability to travel locally and nationally as needed.

Office/Remote working environment
Ability to communicate and exchange information as well as use a computer.
Ability to transport up to 20 lbs.
Local and/or national travel periodically required
