Shift Schedule: Monday–Thursday 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.; Friday 6:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.
Work Location: On-Site (Warehouse/Production Facility)
Reports To: General Manager
Work Schedule: This position is expected to work during normal business operations and as needed to fulfill the responsibilities of the role. Additional time may be required based on operational demands, deadlines, or business needs.
Job SummaryThe Inventory Specialist is responsible for managing and maintaining accurate inventory levels within ADAboy’s production environment. This role combines hands-on inventory handling with system management using ERP software to ensure materials are properly received, stocked, tracked, and distributed to support efficient production operations. This position plays a critical role in ensuring materials are available, staged, and ready to support production schedules.
Key Responsibilities· Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders and packing slips.
· Accurately enter and maintain inventory data within ERP systems.
· Organize, label, and stock materials in designated locations for easy access and accurate tracking.
· Pick, stage, and distribute materials to production teams based on job requirements and schedules.
· Ensure materials are available and properly staged to support daily production workflow.
· Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and reconciliation processes.
· Identify and investigate discrepancies, shortages, or damaged materials and resolve issues promptly.
· Coordinate with purchasing, logistics, and production teams to ensure material availability and flow.
· Maintain clean, organized, and efficient inventory storage areas.
· Assist in improving inventory processes, workflow efficiency, and system accuracy.
· Operate basic warehouse equipment as needed (carts, pallet jacks, etc.).
· Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
· Perform other duties as assigned to support operations.
Qualifications· 2+ years of inventory control, warehouse, or logistics experience required.
· Experience using ERP or inventory systems in a manufacturing or production environment is strongly preferred.
· Strong computer skills with accurate data entry and system management.
· Ability to manage both physical inventory and system-based tracking simultaneously.
· Strong organizational, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
· Ability to prioritize tasks and support production timelines.
· Clear communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
· Reliable, accountable, and safety-conscious.
Physical Requirements· Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the workday.
· Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs.
· Comfortable working in a shop/warehouse environment.
