About This Position

About the Role:

This is for a Role within the Dayton International Airport! As a Shift Leader at Dunkin Donuts, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the store during your assigned shifts. You will be responsible for leading and motivating the team to deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining high standards of product quality and store cleanliness. This role requires balancing operational tasks with team management, including training, scheduling, and conflict resolution. You will act as a key point of contact between store management and crew members, ensuring that company policies and procedures are consistently followed. Ultimately, your leadership will contribute to a positive customer experience and the overall success of the store.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a customer service or retail environment
  • Basic math skills and ability to handle cash transactions accurately
  • Availability to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a leadership or supervisory role within the food service industry
  • Knowledge of Dunkin Donuts products and operations
  • Certification in food safety or related training
  • Experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems and inventory management software
  • Ability to motivate and develop a team in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support crew members during shifts to maintain high levels of customer service and operational efficiency
  • Manage daily store operations including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and inventory control
  • Train new employees and provide ongoing coaching to team members to enhance their skills and performance
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards to provide a safe environment for customers and staff
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain customer satisfaction and loyalty

  • Must be able to pass TSA background check to receive airport badge
  • Must have reliable transportation
