Fleet Manager – Louisville – Kramers Ave

Valicor Environmental Services is looking for a Fleet Manager at our Louisville, KY (Kramers Lane) facility

Our Minimum Requirements for this Position:

• Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in fleet transportation/logistics at a supervisor level or above
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to effectively multi-task, while working in high-stress situations
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook)

Responsibilities:

• Direct and dispatch fleet activities, including planning and scheduling driver routes
• Coordinate and interact with fleet maintenance program for Louisville, KY (Kramers Lane) facility
• Conduct weekly planning and coordination to develop route plans for the upcoming week, to include coordination with internal and external parties
• Make adjustments to driver schedules and routes based on capacity to optimize runs
• Utilize creativity and quick thinking to make decisions on last minute scheduling
• Serve as first-line of communication for all transportation related issues
• Work independently to resolve issues and communicate accordingly when additional input is needed
• Provide exceptional, timely customer service at all times to internal and external customers with respect to planning, scheduling, troubleshooting and unexpected issues
• Remain current on DOT requirements, and other regulations as needed
• Responsible for ensuring drivers are properly trained on Company safety policies and procedures

Successful candidates must pass the Pre-Screening process if offered this position. This includes a criminal background check, drug screen, and MVR check (if applicable for the position).
