About This Position

Position Summary

The Director of Information Technology leads Arnold Magnetic Technologies’ global IT organization across 11 locations. This role is responsible for the reliability, security, and strategic direction of all technology systems supporting manufacturing, engineering, and corporate operations. It is a hands-on leadership position with both operational and strategic responsibilities and is expected to evolve into a future CIO role.

Key ResponsibilitiesIT Leadership & Organizational Development
  • Lead and develop Arnold’s global IT organization, providing direction, mentorship, and accountability across multiple IT disciplines, consisting of approximately 15 IT professionals.
  • Foster collaboration between infrastructure, security, applications, service desk and regional IT teams.
  • Establish operational standards, performance metrics, and development paths for IT staff.
  • Partner with executive leadership to align technology initiatives with organizational priorities and long-term business goals.
Infrastructure & Network Operations
  • Oversee global infrastructure, including data centers, networks, cloud platforms, and endpoints
  • Ensure reliability and performance of systems supporting manufacturing and engineering.
  • Ensure infrastructure and network environments are properly segmented and secured to support regulated workloads and operational technologies.
  • Maintain resilient connectivity between global locations, cloud platforms, and external partners.
  • Support enterprise collaboration and productivity platforms, including ongoing modernization of digital workplace tools and cloud-based communication systems.
  • Coordinate closely with the Regional IT Manager (APAC) to implement and maintain consistent infrastructure standards and operational practices across international locations.
  • Support modernization and lifecycle management of infrastructure technologies across the enterprise.
Cybersecurity, Compliance & Risk Management
  • Oversee the enterprise security program.
  • Ensure compliance with ITAR/EAR, CMMC Level 2, NIST 800-171, DFARS, SOX ITGC, GDPR, and Swiss FADP.
  • Maintain visibility into enterprise risk posture, vulnerability management, and incident response readiness.
  • Support internal and external audits, certification initiatives, and customer security assessments.
  • Promote security awareness and responsible data handling practices across the organization.
Enterprise Applications & Data Platforms
  • Oversee enterprise application portfolio supporting manufacturing, engineering, HR, finance, supply chain, and customer operations.
  • Lead modernization initiatives across enterprise systems, including major application rollouts, platform upgrades, and integration of new business capabilities.
  • Guide the evolution of the company’s enterprise data platform, including development of modern data architecture supporting centralized analytics and self-service business intelligence.
  • Partner with business leadership to identify opportunities for automation, improved reporting, and data-driven decision making across operational and corporate functions.
  • Drive responsible adoption of artificial intelligence technologies across the organization, including enabling employees to leverage AI tools effectively while ensuring appropriate governance, security, and regulatory compliance.
  • Evaluate and implement AI-enabled capabilities within enterprise systems, analytics platforms, and operational workflows to improve productivity and decision-making.
  • Ensure enterprise systems and data platforms are scalable, secure, and aligned with the company’s long-term digital and operational strategy.
Global IT Operations
  • Ensure consistent IT service delivery across 11 global sites.
  • Provide leadership and support to the Regional IT Manager responsible for IT operations across Asia.
  • Ensure consistent infrastructure standards, security practices, and operational processes across international locations.
  • Support global manufacturing operations through reliable and secure technology services.
Vendor, Budget & Technology Investment Management
  • Develop and manage the IT operating and capital budget.
  • Evaluate and prioritize technology investments aligned with business strategy.
  • Manage relationships with technology vendors, managed service providers, and system integrators.
  • Negotiate vendor contracts and ensure service providers meet defined service levels and security expectations.
Governance, Policies & IT Standards
  • Establish governance frameworks for infrastructure, security, applications, and technology project delivery.
  • Ensure policies, procedures, and standards are documented and consistently applied across the organization.
  • Implement structured processes for change management, architecture review, and technology lifecycle management.
  • Promote operational maturity through documentation, automation, and standardization.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive IT experience, including leadership across infrastructure and enterprise systems.
  • 5+ years in a senior IT leadership role managing managers or multiple functional IT teams.
  • Strong technical background across hybrid infrastructure, enterprise networking, cloud platforms, and security.
  • Experience supporting regulated environments requiring compliance with frameworks such as NIST 800-171, CMMC, or similar standards.
  • Demonstrated experience managing enterprise infrastructure environments combining on-premise systems with cloud platforms.
  • U.S. Citizenship required due to ITAR/EAR and handling of controlled data.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% as needed to support business operations

Preferred

  • Master’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience supporting aerospace, defense, or highly regulated manufacturing environments.
  • Experience with ERP systems such as Syteline.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft GCC-High environments or other regulated cloud platforms.
  • Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, PMP, or ITIL.
