OCCU is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager in Eugene. This on-site role offers a competitive starting pay range of $31.50 to $38.00 per hour, along with incentive opportunities. Additionally, employees who successfully complete a standardized Spanish language proficiency assessment are eligible for an extra $2 per hour bilingual premium.

The Assistant Branch Manager works alongside the Branch Manager to provide excellent service and guide the team at OCCU toward success. Key responsibilities include encouraging teamwork, enhancing staff skills, keeping communication open, and supporting both personal and branch objectives. You will help to build a skilled and motivated team, sets clear targets, share feedback, promote automation, and aim for ongoing improvements in daily operations. The Assistant Branch Manager also represents OCCU and the branch when interacting with members, sponsors, vendors, financial institutions, and other stakeholders. Additionally, this role serves as an ambassador by highlighting OCCU’s remote services as valuable virtual options for members.

Applicants need a minimum of two years of relevant experience in finance, with at least one year in supervisory or managerial capacity. Prior experience as a Senior Enrichment Advisor or Senior Personal Banker is essential. The individual selected for this position will be accountable for maintaining an active NMLS license, updating personal information, completing annual reviews, and staying informed about current products, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Applicants should either hold a two-year college degree or have completed a specialized course at a business or trade school. Alternatively, candidates can demonstrate their eligibility through an equivalent combination of education and experience, proving they possess the knowledge, skills, and abilities required for the position.
