AWARE is looking for the right person to join the team as a training coordinator. The training coordinator provides training and other types of technical support by arranging, scheduling, and providing class-room style sessions, consultation, or hands-on assistance to meet corporate training needs throughout Montana.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborates with subject matter experts to create successful training modules and instructional materials.
• Coordinates and conducts class-room style training sessions in each community represented by the organization.
• Conduct needs assessments to identify skills and knowledge gaps within the organization and identify learning objectives.
• Develop and monitor systems to assess the effectiveness of training programs and gathering participant feedback.
• Assist in analyzing training budget to ensure cost effectiveness in professional development activities.
• Track and maintain staff training records providing up to date reports on training progress to supervisors.
• Develop and maintain yearly training schedule, informing staff of all scheduled training sessions.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Requires a BA/BS Degree in Human Services, Business Administration, or related field
• Must be experienced in dealing with organizational policies and procedures
• Excellent time management skills, public speaking skills, problem-solving skills and both verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to operate media equipment such as projectors and personal computers
• Knowledge about traditional and modern training methods and techniques
• Exceptional organization skills, leadership and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work with a team and have attention to detail
• Knowledgeable about learning management systems, instructional design and e-learning platforms
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and assess and analyze data
