Medical Assistant / Patient Care Coordinator - Clinic Lead
Location: Onsite - Mission, KS Clinic (In collaboration with the Lilac Center)
Employment Type: Full-Time, W-2 Employee, Non-Exempt

Hourly Rate: $23-25/hr
Schedule/Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm (no nights or weekends!)

As a Medical Assistant / Patient Care Coordinator, you play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care while supporting the daily operations of the clinic. This position blends hands-on clinical support, administrative coordination, and leadership presence to ensure a seamless and supportive patient experience.

You will work closely with patients throughout their care journey, assist with treatment support (including TMS services), and help maintain an organized, efficient clinic environment.

Medical Assistant/Coordinator Responsibilities

  • Greet and support patients throughout their visits with professionalism and empathy
  • Assist with patient intake, documentation, and coordination of care
  • Collect and manage patient payments, including setting up recurring payment plans
  • Process new patient paperwork and ensure all required documentation is complete
  • Maintain clinic inventory, order supplies, and ensure a clean, organized environment
  • Schedule appointments and manage follow-ups efficiently
  • Perform chart audits and support provider documentation
  • Monitor and communicate patient concerns or feedback to clinical leadership
  • Assist with TMS equipment setup and provide treatment support as needed (training provided)
  • Support clinical flow to ensure smooth and timely patient sessions
  • Serve as a resource for team members and assist with onboarding new staff
  • Promote a positive, patient-centered clinic culture focused on compassion and teamwork

Compensation & Benefits (Full-Time Employees are eligible for):

  • Competitive Hourly Rate: $23-25/hr

Requirements:

Qualifications

  • Completion of a Medical Assistant program, certification, or equivalent hands-on clinical experience preferred
  • Prior experience in a healthcare, behavioral health, or medical office setting strongly preferred
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm in a patient-facing environment
  • Comfortable using electronic health records (EHR) and payment systems
  • Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care

Preferred (Not Required)

  • Bachelor’s degree in psychology, healthcare, or a related field
  • Previous leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience
