This role offers the opportunity to shape and modernize cloud networking solutions for a critical government mission. You will design, implement, and optimize secure, high-performance, and scalable cloud networks across AWS, Azure, and GCP, while integrating automation and DevOps practices. The position involves collaborating with technical teams and leadership to define standards, guide architecture, and ensure seamless integration of network solutions into mission-critical systems. You will influence enterprise-level decisions, support cloud migration and Zero Trust initiatives, and contribute to advancing a secure, future-ready IT infrastructure. This role operates in a fully remote, collaborative, and fast-paced environment, with significant impact on enterprise technology modernization.
- Architect and design secure, scalable cloud networking solutions across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments
- Design, configure, and manage VPCs, VPNs, Direct Connect, and hybrid cloud networking solutions
- Implement and optimize cloud firewalls, load balancers, DNS, and other network services
- Ensure network architectures meet performance, scalability, and security requirements
- Integrate DevOps practices and automation to streamline deployment and operations in multi-cloud environments
- Define and enforce networking standards, policies, and best practices for cloud and hybrid solutions
- Collaborate with stakeholders, engineering teams, and leadership to align network solutions with enterprise objectives
- Provide architectural oversight throughout design, implementation, and solution transitions
- Contribute to enterprise modernization initiatives, including cloud migration, Zero Trust adoption, and software-defined networking
- 7–10+ years of experience in cloud networking, design, and architecture
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred
- Proven expertise in AWS, Azure, and GCP cloud networking
- Strong experience with VPCs, VPNs, Direct Connect, hybrid networking, cloud firewalls, load balancers, and DNS
- Experience integrating automation and DevOps practices in multi-cloud environments
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills to influence enterprise-level technology decisions
- Ability to design solutions balancing innovation, scalability, performance, and security
- Must be eligible to obtain DHS Suitability security clearance
- Desired: Experience with cloud-native networking architectures and multi-cloud automation
