Summary of position-

We are seeking a mid-level Front End Developer / UX-UI Designer who is equally fluent in design and code. This is a true hybrid role for a practitioner who takes a product from research and wireframes through to production-ready React components. You will partner with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to shape the visual and interactive experience of the Elevate Jet mobile app, web portal, and emerging client and operational tools. Essential Duties & Responsibilities-

• Conduct user research, develop personas, and map user journeys for client and internal-facing products
• Produce wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity designs in Figma
• Effectively contribute to and maintain the Elevate Jet design system, including components, tokens, and interaction patterns
• Partner with product managers to generate product requirements documents and translate them into intuitive, visually polished interfaces
• Run usability testing and iterate based on findings
• Build and maintain front end features in React and React Native across iOS, Android, and web
• Translate designs into clean, reusable, and accessible components
• Integrate with Python-based backend services and third-party platforms through REST APIs
• Collaborate with the engineering team on code reviews, sprint planning, and technical architecture decisions
• Ensure performance, responsiveness, and cross-platform consistency, and contribute to testing and production hardening

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities-

Required

• A combined experience in front end development and UX-UI design, with a portfolio demonstrating both shipped product design work and production code contributions
• Strong proficiency with React is required; experience with React Native is strongly preferred
• Advanced Figma skills, including components, variants, auto-layout, and prototyping
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript or TypeScript
• Familiarity with design systems, accessibility standards (WCAG), and responsive design principles
• Experience integrating React front ends with Python-based backend services and third party SDKs through REST APIs
• Ability to communicate design and technical decisions clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Preferred

• Experience in travel, aviation, hospitality, or luxury service industries
• Familiarity with mobile attribution tools such as Branch.io, payment integrations, or CRM platforms
• Exposure to analytics tools and A/B testing frameworks
• Experience working in a distributed startup or growth-stage environment

Education & Experience-

• 3+ years of experience of combined experience in front end development and UX-UI design, with a portfolio demonstrating both shipped product design work and production code contributions
• Strong proficiency with React is required; experience with React Native is strongly preferred

Schedule & Travel-

• Standard business hours are expected in this role, however nights and weekends may be required to support the needs of the organization.
• Ability to travel as required up to 20%
