Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end project planning and execution, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget alignment

  • Manage all phases of assigned structural steel and misc metals projects, from bid award to close-out

  • Coordinate with fabrication, erection crews, subcontractors, and clients

  • Conduct regular status meetings and maintain transparent communication with stakeholders

  • Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies

  • Manage change orders, RFIs, submittals, and closeout documentation

  • Ensure project documentation meets internal standards and contract requirements

  • Promote safety and compliance across all project sites

  • Support innovation and continuous improvement in project delivery

  • Foster teamwork and cross-functional collaboration throughout the organization

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of project management experience in construction

  • 2+ years managing structural steel and miscellaneous metals projects

  • Proven leadership experience managing budgets, schedules, and teams

  • Strong understanding of fabrication and erection processes in steel construction

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience managing RFIs, submittals, change orders, and construction documentation

  • Ability to lead with professionalism, resolve conflict, and deliver results

  • Familiarity with risk management, compliance, and cost control

  • Ability to work onsite full-time in Hartford, CT, and travel to project sites as needed

Schedule
