Job Summary:
Plays a critical role in overseeing concrete production and quality control, ensuring operations run safely and efficiently. This position is responsible for operating and coordinating plant machinery and equipment to deliver concrete on time, within specification, and in compliance with safety and quality standards

As a Plant Manager, You Will:

• Lead and manage a safe, productive team while enforcing safety protocols and regulations
• Oversee daily plant operations to ensure concrete production meets quality, safety, and production targets
• Operate and monitor batching equipment and coordinate ready-mix truck operations
• Schedule and manage drivers to ensure safe, timely delivery of concrete
• Coordinate production schedules and deliveries based on customer orders and plant capacity
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding orders, deliveries, and issue resolution
• Perform quality checks to ensure concrete meets specifications
• Manage raw material deliveries, inventory, and production records
• Utilize dispatch software to optimize delivery routes and schedules
• Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues related to production equipment
• Develop strategies to reduce costs and improve operational efficiency
• Train drivers and plant personnel on daily operations, safety, and plant procedures

Skills/Requirements:

• Previous experience in concrete production and concrete dispatching
• CDL preferred but not required
• Concrete field experience with a strong understanding of ready-mix operations
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with team members and management
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
• ACI Level 1 certification preferred but not required

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering preferred
