About the Role

Join the leadership team at WinStar World Hotel & Resort, one of Oklahoma's premier hospitality destinations. We're seeking a dynamic, detail-driven Director of Finance to oversee all financial operations for our property — ensuring accuracy, transparency, and operational excellence across every department.

As the financial leader of the hotel, you will guide a talented team of accounting and purchasing professionals, manage financial reporting, oversee internal controls, and partner with executive leadership to drive profitability and performance. This is a high-impact, visible role where your expertise directly contributes to the success of one of the largest and most recognized resort properties in the region.

What You'll Do
  • Oversee daily accounting operations, month-end closing, and financial reporting.
  • Prepare and review monthly financial statements, forecasts, and executive summaries.
  • Lead accounts payable and receivable processes, including casino hotel reconciliations.
  • Manage all cash and credit card activities, ensuring accuracy in deposits and chargebacks.
  • Implement and monitor purchasing procedures and inventory controls across all departments.
  • Ensure timely and accurate filing of state and local tax returns (sales, lodging, beverage, etc.).
  • Collaborate with external auditors and corporate leadership to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Support payroll, budget planning, and capital expenditure processes.
  • Maintain internal controls, perform periodic internal audits, and ensure policy compliance.
  • Serve as the property's financial liaison with the Casino operations team.
  • Lead, develop, and mentor team members in both Accounting and Purchasing.
What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (CPA preferred).
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant finance or accounting management experience, ideally within hospitality or public accounting.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial statement preparation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and general ledger systems.
  • Exceptional organizational, analytical, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, work collaboratively across departments, and maintain confidentiality.
  • Must be eligible for a vendor gaming license and authorized for bank account access.
