Data Engineer - Remote
This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Data Engineer - REMOTE. In this pivotal role, you will design and implement scalable data models that facilitate efficient business intelligence processes and machine learning operations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate data needs into structured models while being a champion for data consistency and governance. Your expertise will not only support our partner's operational demands but also empower them to leverage data for strategic decision-making. Accountabilities- Design and implement robust and scalable data models for business intelligence and machine learning.
- Collaborate with business teams to create well-documented data models based on their requirements.
- Maintain data quality and consistency across various data sources.
- Build and manage ETL pipelines from data ingestion to transformation and delivery.
- Participate in data governance initiatives covering policies and standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in designing and implementing ETL pipelines.
- Proficiency in SQL and various database management systems.
- Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform, especially BigQuery and Airflow.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
