Compensation: $18 per hour

Position Summary:

ServiceFM LLC is hiring a dependable and detail-oriented Part-Time Night Custodian to support a church facility in the Old Hickory area near Hermitage. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining clean, safe, and welcoming spaces for staff, members, and guests.

Key Responsibilities

Daily custodial duties include:

• Sweeping, mopping (wet and dry), dusting, and vacuuming
• Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, classrooms, hallways, offices, sanctuary, cafeteria, and common areas
• Emptying trash and removing debris from floors and outdoor grounds
• Cleaning interior windows and doors
• Assisting with event setup and breakdown, including furniture moving and room arrangements
• Performing floor and carpet care, especially during school breaks
• Securing all buildings at the end of each shift
• Reporting maintenance issues or safety concerns promptly
• Supporting weekend cleaning needs for scheduled events

Enjoy a consistent and flexible part-time schedule of 18+ hours per week, with opportunities for additional hours as available.

Regular Schedule:
• Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays
• Monday and Friday start times are flexible
• Wednesday start time is 1:30 PM

Additional Hours Available:
Extra shifts may be offered at this location or at other ServiceFM client sites based on operational needs.

• Previous custodial or janitorial experience is preferred
• Consistent and reliable attendance, with strong punctuality
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and extended hours as needed
• Must successfully pass a background check to work in a school environment
• Physically capable of performing labor-intensive tasks, including walking, bending, stretching, lifting up to 50 pounds, pulling, and pushing
• Demonstrates a strong work ethic, professionalism, and customer service mindset
• Works well independently and as part of a team
• Able to accurately track and log work hours using a smartphone or mobile device

• Paid Time Off (PTO): Available to employees who consistently work 20+ hours per week.
