Job Description
Facilities Maintenance Porterat Marsden South
Shift: Monday to Friday, from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.
Hourly Rate: $17.75
Location: Houston, TX., 77077
Requirements:
- You must be 18 years old
- You must have work authorization
- You must pass multiple safety tests
- You must have janitorial and maintenance experience
- A pre-employment drug screen is required for some of our accounts, and a criminal background check is mandatory.
Job Duties:
As you might expect, cleaning is at the heart of what your job will entail. For the most part, youll be:
- Keep common areas clean and orderly throughout the day
- Empty trash and replace liners as needed
- Restock supplies (restrooms, break rooms, etc.)
- Perform basic cleaning (sweeping, mopping, wiping surfaces)
- Handle minor maintenance tasks (tightening fixtures, replacing light bulbs, unclogging drains)
- Perform basic repairs (fixing door handles, adjusting hinges, patching small wall damage)
- Check and maintain equipment (inspect for issues, report or address minor problems)
- Respond quickly to spills, messes, or urgent maintenance needs
- Monitor the property for safety hazards and maintenance concerns
- Report major repair issues to maintenance or management
