Project Manager

Project Manager Lead Elite Outdoor Living Construction Operations Job Overview

The Opportunity

You will act as the orchestrator of outstanding outdoor spaces, serving as the critical link between high-end blueprints and breathtaking realities. As a leader in Wisconsins premier deck building firm, you will have the autonomy to direct crews, manage complex logistics, and drive the success of nationally recognized projects. This role is designed for a high-aptitude professional who takes pride in holding elite standards and delivering a top-tier product.

How You Will Make an Impact
  • Oversee and manage the end-to-end execution of custom construction projects, ensuring every build meets our "higher level" quality standard.

  • Direct field crews and subcontractors with confidence, holding teams accountable to strict timelines and craftsmanship benchmarks.

  • Facilitate complex problem-solving and site-level decision-making to keep projects moving forward under pressure.

  • Lead the permitting and pre-construction process, including site evaluations, utility locates, and structural surveys.

  • Coordinate precision material procurement and logistics to ensure all necessary components are on-site and ready for production.

  • Maintain proactive communication with homeowners and designers to ensure a seamless client experience from start to finish.

Required Qualifications & Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of related experience in construction project management, specifically within the residential sector.

  • Proven leadership ability with a track record of directing crews and earning respect through technical expertise.

  • High mental aptitude for managing multiple tasks, budgets, and shifting priorities simultaneously.

  • Strong organizational skills with a "no excuses" approach to follow-through and project documentation.

  • Demonstrated ability to navigate local building codes and the municipal permitting process.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience
  • Associates Degree in Construction Management or a related field.

  • Prior experience as a Lead Carpenter or Field Foreman, specifically in the decking and outdoor living industry.

  • Hands-on expertise with custom deck building, covered patios, and 3-season porches.

  • Advanced resourcefulness in turning site-specific obstacles into successful construction opportunities.
