As part of our continued growth, we're looking for a detail-oriented and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our terminal operations team.
Job Summary:
As a Corporate Customer Service Representative, you will be the first point of contact for many of our customers, playing a key role in ensuring a smooth and professional shipping experience. This position supports all terminal operations by handling customer inquiries and tracing requests, as well as setting up pickups and delivery appointments.
Key Responsibilities – Daily:
- Serve as the front-line representative for local terminal customers by phone, email, and in-person.
- Handle a high volume of inquiries and requests with professionalism and efficiency.
- Accurately enter shipment orders and update customer records in the system.
- Schedule pickups and deliveries and assist with appointment management.
- Communicate proactively with customers about shipment status, delays, or exceptions.
- Escalate unresolved issues or service delays to the Customer Service Manager.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- Previous experience in customer service, ideally in the LTL, freight, or logistics industry preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a clear and friendly communication style.
- Ability to stay organized and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows.
- Comfort with scanning/imaging software.
- Attention to detail, especially in data entry and shipment paperwork handling.
- Team-oriented with a service-first mindset and a proactive attitude.
