Job Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Intake Specialist to join our Admissions Team. In this role, you will play a critical part in the admissions process by engaging with potential clients, coordinating intakes, and ensuring a smooth transition for clients entering the facility. Your contributions will directly support individuals starting their recovery journey.

Key Responsibilities:
Answer phone calls and assist with referral sources as part of the screening process.
Interview clients and family members to obtain and verify admission information.
Complete all necessary admission paperwork and explain criteria to clients.
Conduct client inventory checks for contraband and document incident reports when necessary.
Facilitate intake procedures, including urinalysis, providing facility clothing, and logging client inventory.
Coordinate and arrange for client transportation and support services.
Maintain accurate and confidential client records in accordance with policies.
Prepare admission reports and analyze trends for process improvement.
Follow safety policies and ensure the security of clients during the intake process.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Admissions Director.

Required Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.
Experience: Minimum of one (1) years in a healthcare or specialty setting preferred.
Skills:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
Comfortable working with clients in potentially challenging situations.
