Construction Project Manager Lead High-End Residential and Hospitality Builds
Job Overview:
Company: After Co.
Salary/Pay Rate: $120,000 to $135,000 per year plus Performance Based Bonus.
Location: Los Angeles, CA.
Job/Employment Type: Full Time.
Schedule: Monday - Friday.
Project Scope: High-End Residential, Hospitality, and Commercial.
Mandatory Licenses & Certifications: None Required.
The Opportunity: You will serve as a pivotal leader bridging design intent with field execution for a tight-knit, high-performing architectural and construction firm. This role offers the unique chance to move beyond "pushing paper" and exercise true ownership over complex, end-to-end project lifecycles. You will work on sophisticated projects where your architectural background and construction expertise directly influence the final built environment.
How You Will Make an Impact:
Drive all construction phases from mobilization through close-out to ensure design integrity and precision.
Lead Owner-Architect-Contractor (OAC) meetings and manage action items to maintain team accountability.
Oversee field operations and superintendents to coordinate daily site activities, sequencing, and safety.
Maintain Master Construction Schedules by monitoring critical path items and long-lead procurement milestones.
Manage the RFI and submittal process to resolve technical conflicts and maintain project momentum.
Develop and track project budgets, change orders, and cost-to-complete projections to ensure financial health.
Collaborate with design teams to solve real-time constructability challenges and detailing conflicts on-site.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
5-7 years direct project management experience as or under a GC.
Proven success managing high-end residential, multifamily, or hospitality projects through completion.
Strong command of project management software such as Procore, Smartsheet, Submittal Link, Bluebeam Revu, MS Project, or Notion.
Deep understanding of building codes, construction sequencing, and trade coordination.
Exceptional communication skills for interfacing with owners, architects, and city agencies.
Demonstrated ability to drive project execution independently with a high sense of accountability.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.
Experience in design-build delivery or direct collaboration with specialized fabricators.
Familiarity with Los Angeles permitting, inspections, and local agency coordination.
Architectural licensure or active progress toward licensure.
