Vice President of Engineering (REMOTE)
This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a VP of Engineering - REMOTE. In this role, you will be a key leader driving technical excellence and scalable product delivery within a global organization. You'll influence the integration of AI capabilities into our products, ensuring they meet customer needs effectively. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the engineering landscape and mentor high-performing teams in a dynamic environment. You'll lead initiatives that impact product innovation and customer experience while focusing on operational excellence and collaboration across departments.
Accountabilities- Develop and implement the technology strategy aligning with business goals.
- Oversee the entire engineering lifecycle including product development, deployment, and maintenance.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the engineering team, fostering innovation and collaboration.
- Lead recruitment and development of high-performing engineering teams.
- Ensure adherence to best practices in software engineering, CI/CD, and agile methodologies.
- Manage the transition towards AI-native development practices.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and effective product releases.
- Manage budgets and vendor relationships that support engineering initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; Master's preferred.
- 15+ years of experience in engineering leadership roles.
- Demonstrated ability to build and scale high-performing engineering teams.
- In-depth understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
- Experience with SaaS platforms, cloud architecture, and multi-tenant systems.
- Proven track record with AI/ML technologies and practices.
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking capabilities.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
