Learning Specialist

This role plays a key part in strengthening workforce capabilities by supporting the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of training and development programs. You will help translate organizational needs into engaging learning experiences that support both individual growth and operational performance. Working closely with subject matter experts and business leaders, you will contribute to building scalable learning solutions across a dynamic industrial environment. The position combines instructional support, content development, and hands-on coordination of training initiatives across multiple formats, including classroom, virtual, and on-the-job learning. You will also play an important role in maintaining learning systems, tracking training effectiveness, and ensuring smooth program execution. This is a highly collaborative role that directly supports employee development and long-term organizational capability building.

Accountabilities

You will support the end-to-end learning and development process, contributing to training design, delivery, and continuous improvement across the organization. Key responsibilities include:

  • Assist in the design, development, and delivery of training programs across plant and enterprise environments.
  • Support the assessment of organizational and role-based learning needs in collaboration with leaders and subject matter experts.
  • Contribute to the creation, update, and maintenance of training materials, curricula, and learning resources.
  • Help coordinate and facilitate training sessions across classroom, virtual, and on-the-job formats.
  • Support coaching, mentoring, and e-learning initiatives to enhance employee development.
  • Assist in evaluating training effectiveness and incorporating feedback to improve learning outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate training records and learning management system data.
  • Provide logistical and administrative support to ensure smooth execution of training activities.
Requirements

This role requires strong communication skills, organizational ability, and a foundational understanding of learning and development practices. Candidates should have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Training & Development, Education, Human Resources, or related field, or 2+ years of equivalent experience.
  • Experience supporting or delivering training programs in classroom, virtual, or blended environments.
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills for diverse audiences.
  • Ability to create clear, engaging, and structured training content and materials.
  • Excellent written communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Problem-solving skills and adaptability to adjust learning approaches to different audiences.
  • Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and learning management systems is preferred.
