This role sits at the heart of fundraising operations, combining donor stewardship, data management, and campaign support to strengthen philanthropic impact. You will serve as a key connector between donors, internal teams, and finance stakeholders, ensuring that contributions are accurately processed and meaningfully acknowledged. The position requires strong attention to detail and a systems-oriented mindset, as you will maintain donor records, manage CRM data, and support reporting that informs fundraising strategy. You will also contribute to campaigns and events by ensuring seamless backend coordination and data integrity. In this role, you will support donor engagement, financial processing, and data operations that ensure smooth and accurate fundraising activities across the organization.
- Serve as the primary contact for donor inquiries via phone and email, delivering responsive and professional support
- Manage donor acknowledgments, tribute communications, and pledge reminders to ensure timely stewardship
- Process and track incoming donations across multiple channels, including checks, wires, stock, online gifts, and donor-advised funds
- Partner with finance teams to reconcile contributions and ensure accurate coding, reporting, and documentation
- Maintain and update donor records in Salesforce, including gift entry and engagement activity tracking
- Run reports, conduct data audits, and support campaign list management to ensure data accuracy and system integrity
- Assist with fundraising events and campaigns by supporting backend logistics, reporting, and coordination
- Handle special projects and administrative tasks to support broader campaign and donor services functions
This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a passion for mission-driven work, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Bachelor’s degree required
- At least 2 years of professional experience or relevant internships
- Strong interest in fundraising, nonprofit work, or donor relations
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer-service mindset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and confidentiality
- Collaborative attitude, adaptability, and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in fundraising, customer service, or data-focused roles is a plus
- Competitive salary range of $50,000–$55,000, depending on experience
