Job Description
Job Title
Rehabilitation Services Aide
Job Summary
Supports rehabilitation services care delivery by ensuring that therapy area is prepared for patient treatment. Monitors supply inventory and maintains therapy equipment. Oversees rehab volunteer program. Assists with routine patient-related tasks as directed.

We are committed to providing wage ranges for all open positions. Please note that the specific compensation for this role will be determined based on experience, education and internal equity considerations. The hourly wage range for this position is $16.66–$23.52. This range reflects the base salary for this position.
Key Accountabilities
Supply Inventory
-
Maintain supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level and anticipate needed supplies
-
Place and expedite orders for supplies; verify receipt of supplies for all rehabilitation locations as needed
-
Negotiate with vendors for updated pricing
-
Maintain inventory supplies, order stock, and keep stock areas clean and organized.

Ensure adequate linen supply and assist with folding and storage.
-
Check expiration dates and replace food/supplies when needed.
Cleaning
-
Ensure treatment areas are clean and orderly
-
Clean equipment and treatment rooms before and after sessions
-
Knowledgeable in cleaning products and uses prescribed cleaning techniques for infection control.

Maintain cleanliness in employee breakroom
Equipment Maintenance
-
Monitor equipment to ensure safe working order.
-
Ensure operation of therapy equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; follow manufacturer’s instructions; troubleshoot malfunctions; call for repairs.

Complete daily temp checks on equipment.
Clerical Tasks
-
Perform general clerical work, such as copying, faxing and filing of invoices/receipts
-
Monitor, review and/or complete DME paperwork for accurate billing

Receive and send out packages
Patient related activities
-
Assist therapist with setting up patient for treatment
-
Assist with transfers and retrieval of equipment in the direction of therapist.

Assist in Workplace Health program with client drug testing as needed.

Assist at clinic reception desk by answering phone and other duties as Desk supervisor as needed.
Rehab Volunteer Program
-
Work collaboratively with NH+C Volunteer Coordinator
-
Orient new volunteers and ensure that they are trained appropriately
-
Develop and maintain weekly volunteer schedule
-
Provide feedback, coach volunteers, and address performance issues to promote volunteer success
-
Track hours for volunteers
Perform all other related duties as assigned or requested.
Required Qualifications
-
Minimum Education: High School graduate or equivalent
-
Exceptional organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
-
Ability to perform tasks that require physical strength.
-
Ability to relate to patients of all ages
-
Must be enrolled in NH+C RQI program for BLS certification and complete the requirements within 90 days of enrollment. Must remain current (complete quarterly assignments prior to the end of each calendar quarter).

Must be able to speak, read, and write English proficiently to ensure safe and effective communication in a healthcare environment.

Initial Crisis Prevention Certification (CPI) within six months.

Workplace Violence education in New Employee Orientation and annually thereafter.
Preferred Qualifications
-
Clerical or clinical experience.
-
Proficient data entry and computer skills in office software, such as MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
Schedule
-
Varying weekday shifts between 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
