In this role, you will be pivotal in preparing the organization for its first external audit and positioning the company for successful entry into public markets. You will work closely with the Chief Accounting Officer and a dedicated finance team, taking charge of technical accounting and financial reporting to ensure compliance and readiness. Accountabilities

Own technical accounting for audit and S-1 preparation, including revenue recognition and complex financing instruments.
Lead the preparation of GAAP financial statements and footnote disclosures.

Manage relationships with external technical accounting advisors.
Collaborate with valuation specialists on intangible asset valuations.
Partner with tax advisors for international accounting needs.
Establish workflows, controls, and reporting standards for public-company operations.
Document clear and scalable accounting policies.

Build and mentor the accounting team as the company scales.

Requirements

Active CPA with a background in a Big 4 or national firm.
8+ years of progressive experience in technical accounting or financial reporting.
