About Happy to Help Caregiving

Happy to Help Caregiving provides non-medical in-home care to clients who need support, consistency, and companionship. Our mission is to surround clients with compassionate caregivers who live the “Happy to Help” mindset.

Reliable care starts with reliable hiring. The Recruiting Manager plays a key role in building and maintaining a strong caregiver pipeline, supporting the hiring process, and helping ensure our branches have the caregiver staffing needed to provide consistent, compassionate care.

The Role

We are hiring a Temporary Recruiting Manager to help source caregiver candidates, screen applicants, coordinate interviews, support onboarding steps, and maintain a reliable recruiting pipeline for the branch.

This is a full-time, office-based temporary position created to support current operational needs. At this time, the assignment does not have a confirmed end date. There may be potential for the selected candidate to be considered for a permanent Recruiting Manager position based on business needs, role availability, performance, and company staffing structure; however, permanent employment is not guaranteed.

This role is ideal for someone who is organized, personable, comfortable speaking with candidates, able to follow processes carefully, and motivated by helping build a strong caregiving team.

A strong candidate may come from recruiting, staffing, home care, healthcare administration, customer service, onboarding coordination, call center work, operations support, or another fast-paced service environment. Direct home care experience is helpful, but many parts of this role can be trained for the right candidate with strong communication, judgment, accountability, and follow-through.

What You Will DoRecruiting and Candidate Pipeline

Source caregiver candidates through company-approved recruiting methods.

Build, maintain, and document a reliable caregiver recruiting pipeline to support branch staffing needs.

Monitor applicant flow and follow up with candidates promptly.

Help identify hiring needs based on staffing gaps, branch priorities, growth needs, and caregiver turnover.

Represent Happy to Help Caregiving professionally and consistently throughout the recruiting process.

Screening and Interviewing

Screen applicants using job-related qualifications and company hiring standards.

Conduct or coordinate interviews with caregiver candidates.

Evaluate candidate communication, availability, reliability, experience, professionalism, and fit for the caregiving role.

Communicate clearly with candidates about the hiring process, role expectations, and next steps.

Use fair, consistent, and lawful selection practices throughout the recruiting process.

Hiring Process and Onboarding Coordination

Coordinate hiring-process steps for selected candidates.

Support completion of required employment documentation, onboarding tasks, orientation readiness, and system setup.

Coordinate background checks, registry checks, and other required screening steps according to company process and applicable requirements.

Assist with I-9 and E-Verify process coordination within required timelines.

Help ensure caregivers are ready for orientation, training, and branch placement before beginning client-facing work.

Staffing and Branch Coordination

Partner with the Staffing Manager, Executive Director, Assistant Director, Human Resources, and office team members to understand caregiver hiring priorities.

Communicate recruiting progress, candidate status, hiring concerns, and urgent staffing needs.

Support orientation schedules and caregiver start-date coordination.

Help the branch maintain caregiver coverage by keeping hiring activity organized and moving.

Candidate and Caregiver Communication

Communicate with applicants, new hires, caregivers, and office team members by phone, text, email, and company systems.

Provide clear updates and follow-through throughout the application and onboarding process.

Help candidates feel informed, respected, and supported.

Maintain a professional and positive tone, even when handling delays, difficult conversations, or high-volume hiring needs.

Documentation and Follow-Through

Maintain accurate recruiting records in company-approved systems.

Document candidate communication, hiring status, onboarding progress, and follow-up items as required.

Keep recruiting systems, applicant tracking, and communication tools organized and up to date.

Protect confidential candidate, caregiver, client, and company information.

Escalate hiring, compliance, safety, privacy, or protected-rights concerns to the appropriate leader or Human Resources.

On-Call or After-Hours Support

This role may participate in limited scheduled on-call, backup, or after-hours support for urgent recruiting, onboarding, or staffing-related needs.

This role is not required to physically cover caregiver shifts.

What We Are Looking For

Strong organization and follow-through in a fast-moving environment.

Professional, friendly, and clear communication by phone, text, and email.

Ability to manage multiple candidates and hiring steps at the same time.

Comfort working with online systems, spreadsheets, applicant tracking tools, scheduling systems, and communication platforms.

Ability to follow hiring processes carefully and maintain accurate records.

Good judgment when handling candidate, caregiver, staffing, or compliance concerns.

Ability to work with urgency while still being accurate and professional.

Comfort working in a temporary role where the assignment length may depend on business needs.

Willingness to learn, receive feedback, and grow into the role.

Experience in recruiting, staffing, onboarding, healthcare administration, home care, operations, call center work, or high-volume customer service is helpful.

Requirements

Full-time availability for an office-based temporary role.

Ability to participate in scheduled on-call, backup, or after-hours support if assigned.

Valid driver’s license.

Ability to meet company hiring requirements, including required employment documentation and background-check process.

Professional communication skills and ability to maintain confidentiality.

Ability to use company systems and follow company hiring, documentation, privacy, and escalation procedures.

Compensation and Benefits

This temporary full-time position is paid at an annualized salary of $40,000 per year, paid according to the company’s regular payroll schedule. Because this is a temporary assignment with no confirmed end date, actual earnings will depend on the length of the assignment and time worked.

Benefits eligibility will be determined according to applicable company policies, benefit plan documents, insurance carrier requirements, employment status, hours worked, and applicable law.

There may be potential for the selected candidate to be considered for permanent employment based on business needs, role availability, performance, and company staffing structure; however, permanent employment is not guaranteed.

Hiring Process

The hiring process may include application review, a structured interview, a recruiting or communication-based assessment, reference checks, and completion of company hiring requirements.

Equal Employment Opportunity and Accommodation Statement

Happy to Help Caregiving is an equal opportunity employer. We consider qualified applicants without regard to protected status under applicable law. Applicants who need a reasonable accommodation for the application or interview process may request assistance through the company contact listed in the job posting.

Closing

If you enjoy connecting with people, keeping hiring steps organized, and helping build a strong caregiving team in a meaningful care environment, we encourage you to apply for this temporary opportunity with potential for future permanent consideration.
