This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Director, ETS Operations in United States.

This leadership role sits at the center of global eDiscovery processing operations, overseeing high-volume, technology-driven workflows that power end-to-end legal data services. The position is responsible for ensuring operational excellence, scalability, and innovation across distributed service delivery teams in a fast-paced, client-critical environment. You will lead the evolution of processing capabilities using advanced platforms and tools while driving consistency, quality, and efficiency at scale. Acting as both a strategic operator and hands-on leader, you will guide teams through transformation, system modernization, and increasing complexity. This role requires strong cross-functional collaboration across technical, client-facing, and innovation teams to ensure seamless service delivery. It is ideal for a leader who thrives in operational ownership, continuous improvement, and high-impact problem solving.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead end-to-end oversight of global eDiscovery processing operations, ensuring performance, quality, throughput, and service consistency across all teams, locations, and vendor partners.
  • Drive process optimization and innovation by standardizing workflows, developing SOPs, and implementing scalable best practices across complex processing environments.
  • Own operational performance management, including KPIs, SLAs, capacity planning, forecasting, and data-driven decision-making to support fluctuating workloads and growth.
  • Serve as senior escalation point for critical processing issues, ensuring rapid resolution of high-impact incidents and complex technical challenges.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with Intake, Hosting, Production, Client Services, and Innovation teams to ensure seamless workflow integration and client satisfaction.
  • Oversee adoption and optimization of eDiscovery platforms and tools, including Relativity and Nuix, while supporting modernization and system transitions.
  • Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing distributed team, fostering accountability, adaptability, and continuous improvement culture.
Requirements

This role requires extensive experience in eDiscovery or legal technology operations, combined with strong leadership capabilities and deep technical understanding of processing workflows. Candidates should bring a proven ability to manage large-scale operational environments, lead transformation initiatives, and drive measurable improvements in efficiency and quality. Success in this role depends on strong communication skills, cross-functional influence, and the ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on execution. Familiarity with enterprise eDiscovery platforms and data-driven operational management is essential.

  • 10+ years of experience in eDiscovery or related legal technology operations, with strong expertise in processing workflows and platforms such as Nuix and Relativity/RelativityOne.
  • Proven leadership experience managing distributed teams and large-scale operational functions in a high-volume, service-driven environment.
  • Strong background in process improvement, operational transformation, and implementation of scalable workflows and SOPs.
  • Deep understanding of KPIs, SLAs, capacity planning, and data-driven operational decision-making.
  • Experience working across cross-functional teams, bridging technical operations with client-facing and business stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and executive-level presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage shifting priorities, high-pressure environments, and 24/7 operational demands.
Benefits
  • Competitive annual salary range: $135,788 – $150,000
  • Eligibility for annual bonus or incentive compensation program
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage
  • 401(k) retirement plan with company match
  • Life, AD&D, short-term and long-term disability coverage
  • Flexible PTO program and paid volunteer days
  • Telemedicine access and wellness-focused benefits
  • Optional insurance plans including accident, hospitalization, critical illness, and pet insurance
  • Flexible, remote-friendly work environment with occasional on-call responsibilities.
