Pilkington Construction Co. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Engineer to drive the successful execution of complex Commercial, Government, and Federal projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • You will collaborate with project managers and superintendents to ensure timely, efficient, and high-quality project delivery.
  • Project Controls: Manage and track submittals, RFIs, change orders, procurement logs, and project schedules.
  • Technical Oversight: Review project drawings/specifications to identify scope gaps, conflicts, and constructability issues.
  • Coordination: Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to resolve technical issues.
  • Leadership: Lead project meetings, support safety initiatives, and mentor junior engineers on best practices.
  • Financials: Review cost reports and assist in managing project budgets and forecasts.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in construction project engineering or management (Healthcare, Commercial, or Industrial preferred).
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field required.
  • Tech Stack: Proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of contracts, change management, and construction codes.
  • Preferred: Experience with Design-Build, CMAR, or Public Works projects. OSHA 30 certification is a plus.
