About the role

Reporting to the Receiving Supervisor, the Receiving Associate plays an important role in

Goodkind’s production cycle. They will be responsible for ensuring inventory is processed,

organized, and stored swiftly and accurately. The Receiving Associate must be comfortable

working on their feet, focused on meeting quotas, experienced in inventory software and

databases, and able to operate heavy machinery, such as a Forklift or Pallet Jack.

What you'll do

● Ensure inventory and materials are received, counts/weights verified, and stored in an

organized manner for easy retrieval.

● Check out components and materials to Production Team based on requests/schedule.

● Responsible for working with other Warehouse Assistants on pallet rack placement and

cataloging material/components back into inventory.

● Inspect the levels of components/labels, and raw materials to identify shortages

● Perform and report cycle counts to Inventory Specialist as needed

● Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, scales and other equipment as needed

● Comply with all warehouse safety rules and guidelines

● Collaborate with warehouse employees and other staff to ensure business goals are met

● Follow process closely to be sure that all information pertinent to inventory control is

accurately recorded

● Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

● Warehouse/Inventory experience highly preferred

● License or certification to operate heavy machinery as needed

● Highly organized and able to store items efficiently

● Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Suite applications

● Must be able to work well in a team

● Ability to read, write, and follow instructions, and work independently with little guidance

● Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time; ability to bend and to lift heavy

materials

● Ability to operate computers and relevant warehouse management computer software

● Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends
