Director of Service Lead High-Performance Petroleum Service Operations
Job OverviewCompany: WESTERN PUMP Inc.
Salary/Pay Rate: $170,000 $190,000 annually plus Performance-Based Bonus.
Location: Corporate Headquarters Poway, CA.
Job/Employment Type: Full-Time | Exempt.

You will serve as the visionary leader for our field service division, driving the strategy for maintenance, repair, and compliance of critical petroleum equipment systems. This role empowers you to scale operations and mentor a multidisciplinary team while positioning the company as a premier industry partner.
How You Will Make an ImpactDirect all service operations including dispatch, emergency response, and preventive maintenance to maximize uptime.
Analyze P&L data to drive division profitability and sustainable recurring revenue growth through service contracts.
Strengthen the service team by coaching managers and technicians to achieve peak technical and operational performance.
Execute high-level service standards by establishing and monitoring KPIs such as first-time fix rates and response times.
Oversee strict adherence to a zero-incident safety culture and regulatory compliance with OSHA, EPA, and NFPA standards.
Resolve complex customer escalations to maintain our reputation for technical expertise and long-term accountability.
Coordinate with sales and engineering teams to ensure seamless delivery of turnkey system upgrades and installations.
Proven leadership experience in service operations within petroleum equipment, industrial services, or construction.
Strong technical knowledge of fueling systems including UST/AST, dispensers, piping, and environmental systems.
Demonstrated success in managing P&L and driving operational excellence for large, multi-disciplinary teams.
Proficiency in utilizing ERP or service management systems to track KPIs and labor utilization.
Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent professional experience.
Advanced experience in managing high-growth maintenance contract portfolios.
History of implementing innovative training programs for field technician certification and retention.
