Huckleberry's Server Position Overview and Requirements

We are currently seeking an experienced Server to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in a full-service dining environment and will be committed to delivering exceptional service to our guests.

Responsibilities:

· Provide attentive food and beverage service to all restaurant patrons

· Clearly communicate menu offerings and answer guest questions regarding menu items

· Ensure the dining areas are clean and properly set up before and after service

· Extend warm greetings and foster a welcoming atmosphere for all guests

· Address guest inquiries and requests promptly and professionally

· Perform additional duties as directed by restaurant management

· Anticipate guest needs and provide proactive support throughout their dining experience

· Coordinate with team members to ensure seamless service delivery

· Manage reservations and assist with seating arrangements as needed

· Handle customer complaints or concerns with empathy and efficiency

· Monitor guest satisfaction and follow up to guarantee a positive experience

Qualifications:

· Minimum of two years’ experience in a full-service restaurant setting

· Prior background in customer service, food service, or related hospitality roles

· Ability to recommend alcoholic drinks or higher cost beverages, upsell products and creating high check average

· Strong ability to build positive relationships with guests

· Capacity to excel in a fast-paced work environment

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Ability to multitask and stay organized during busy shifts

· Familiarity with POS systems and basic cash handling procedures

· Flexibility to work various shifts, including Mornings, weekends, and holidays

· Professional appearance and adherence to dress code standards

· Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper sanitation practices

· Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
