Overview

Serving as the operational support of the Enterprise Architecture team, this role ensures that initiatives are well-organized, on schedule, and clearly communicated. The Project Coordinator builds strong relationships within the team and with stakeholders, manages day-to-day logistics, and helps facilitate cross-department collaboration so projects move smoothly from planning to delivery. By keeping efforts aligned, removing roadblocks, and maintaining accurate information, this role enables the team to focus on delivering the strategic, architecture-driven outcomes that advance NYUs mission and long-term priorities.

Responsibilities

Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree

Preferred Education:
Bachelor's Degree Preference for studies that provide a deeper understanding of technology governance, organizational strategy, or enterprise-level project execution.

Required Experience:
3+ years experience in project coordination, account management or a similar role, with a strong background in managing multiple projects and priorities and bringing projects to close on time. Additionally, experience must include: Coordinating complex schedules and working sessions involving technical teams, business stakeholders, and leadership. Managing project artifacts, action items, risks, and issues to successful resolution. Experience in drafting and preparing clear, accessible communications and updates for diverse stakeholder groups, including leadership and technical teams. Practical experience utilizing project and service management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, ServiceNow) to track deliverables and project status. Proven ability to maintain and update data repositories or inventories related to applications, services, or data assets.

Preferred Experience:
3+ years related experience in project coordination, account management or a similar role, with a strong background in managing multiple projects and priorities and bringing projects to close on time.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Strong critical thinking, root cause analysis, iterative solutioning, and practical and novel problem-solving abilities. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders. Experience with project and service management platforms, techniques, and methodologies (e.g., ServiceNow, Asana, Jira, monday.com), with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment. A proactive and resourceful mindset, with the ability to identify and remove operational obstacles.
Qualifications

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $72,000.00 to USD $88,000.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
