Bartender at Slipaway – Cape Coral, Florida

The Bartender will be responsible for preparing and serving drinks, including cocktails, beer, and wine, as well as maintaining a clean and organized work area. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and customer service skills and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Job Duties

• Prepare and serve drinks, including cocktails, beer, and wine

• Process payments and handle cash and credit card transactions accurately
• Uphold sanitation and food safety principles.
• Prepare and serve drinks, including cocktails, beer, and wine
• Check in with customers to ensure their experience is satisfactory.
• Relay reports on customer satisfaction to the management and relevant parties.
• Communicate effectively with other team members, including the food truck operators and management
• Handle various impromptu requests from customers.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• No formal education required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a bartender or in a similar role
• Basic math skills
• Extremely detail-oriented
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong leadership and time management skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Must be able to pass Criminal and Drug background testing
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and events
• Familiarity with bar-specific safety protocols, including fire prevention and emergency response
• Ability to enforce safety standards and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal guidelines
• Commitment to maintaining a clean, hazard-free environment for guests and staff
