Physical Therapist - Therapy Services Coordinator at Cookeville Regional Medical Center – Cookeville, Tennessee

The Physical Therapist - Therapy Services Coordinator is responsible for the daily reports, billing issues/questions, and management of outpatient therapy services. This person is primarily responsible for overseeing staff scheduling ( therapist, assistants and rehabilitation technician ) including payroll edits and tracking attendance, gathering statistics. Coordinator will be expected to coordinate students as well as departmental supplies. Coordinator will also be expected to assist with marketing activities.

The Therapy Services Coordinator reports to the Director of Rehab and serves as the liaison between acute therapy staff, patients, physicians, and the Director. In the absence of the Director, the Therapy Services Coordinator serves as the decision-making authority for acute inpatient issues and emergencies, and all acute care staff report directly to him/her. Coordinator will also provide care to patients per their scope of practice. Other duties as assigned.

Education: A minimum Bachelor degree from accredited PT program. Must have current TN Physical Therapist state license. BLS Healthcare Provider required within 3 months of hire. Must be able to read and write English.
