About This Position
Summary:
The Brand Standards Specialist is responsible for conducting comprehensive operations assessments on our restaurants to evaluate how our teams are performing on food safety and sanitation, food quality, order accuracy, cleanliness, hospitality as well as compliance and other Taco Cabana systems. The Brand Standards Specialist will audit, consult, coach and train on brand standards, thus playing a vital role in helping the organization improve and grow.
Essential Duties:
- Visit restaurants across the brand to conduct operations assessments to evaluate brand standards performance assessing food safety and sanitation, food quality, order accuracy, hospitality, compliance systems and other standards as assigned.
- Measure performance and deliver results to management teams, both verbally and in writing.
- Provide coaching and consultation on brand standards during restaurant visits and in training sessions.
- Provide summary reports by store, district, region and market to multiple key stakeholders in the organization.
- Provide feedback on an ongoing basis on observations, trends, and issues.
- Manage schedule to ensure all assigned restaurant visits are conducted within required timeframes.
- Serves as a subject matter expert and Brand Ambassador for Taco Cabana brand standards.
Job Requirements:
- Must have served as an Assistant Manager or General Manager for a minimum of 3 years in a QSR/Fast Casual setting
- Must have solid verbal and written communication skills.
- Must have solid knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word and Excel.
- Must be an agile learner to possess knowledge of Taco Cabana's standards, policies, procedures and practices as it relates to restaurant operations.
- Must be a self-starter, highly organized and able to juggle multiple priorities.
- Must be able to work evenings and weekends.
- Must be able to be away from home and travel up to 90%.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time in a kitchen environment.
Offering up to $27 / hour
