The Position:
Ohana Pacific Health is looking for a passionate and caring professional to join us in our Administrator in Training program. This position is under the direct supervision of the Administrator, the Administrator-in-Training (AIT) will assist and train on day-to-day functions of an OPH skilled nursing facility in accordance with current Federal, State, County, and Local standards that regulate long-term care. The AIT works closely under the direct supervision of the Nursing Home Administrator to grasp the leadership responsibilities crucial for efficient nursing home operations. Other Duties include:
- Completes activities in accordance with the program modules
- Collaborate with the quality assurance team to implement and monitor quality improvement initiatives, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations and promoting resident satisfaction
- Support in managing budgets and financial matters effectively
Requirements:
- Must be 21 years of age on or before the completion of the Administrator-in-training program
- Bachelor’s degree from a U.S. accredited college or university
- Current medical/health screening includes 2 step TB clearance
- Successful completion of the state-specific AIT program and passing the Nursing Home Administrator's licensure examination upon training completion are required for this position.
- Must be eligible or working towards eligibility for Nursing Home Administrator License in the State of Hawaii
- 1-year administrative experience in a health-related area; experience in SNF or ICF preferred
