About This Position

For over 25 years, Techline Sports Lighting has been an industry leader providing innovative sports lighting solutions to private entities, recreation leagues, municipalities, public and private schools, colleges, and universities, as well as semi-professional and professional venues throughout the United States and the world. Techline Sports Lighting is dedicated to building relationships with customers and focuses on the unique needs of each project seeing it from concept to design all the way through installation and beyond.

Techline Sports Lighting is seeking applicants for a Master Electrician to work alongside our production and project management teams to oversee electrical work before, during, and after sports lighting installations.

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Valid Master Electrician License (TX)
  • Minimum 7 yrs experience
  • Strong knowledge of NEC, local codes, and industry best practices
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills
  • Ability to supervise electrical crews and certify electrical work
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Goal for this position is to be able to obtain electrical contract licenses in multiple states, including but not limited to NC, SC, TN, FL, AL, GA and Northeast.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Travel will be required
  • Oversee sports lighting electrical installations in various states
  • Ensure all electrical work meets state and local codes and safety standards
  • Provide troubleshooting at various stages of sports lighting installations
  • Effectively work with production team on the front-end building fuse boxes and controls prior to installation
  • Effectively work with project management team troubleshooting in field during and after installation
  • Verify voltage requirements

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
