Responsibilities:
- Provide front office support by answering phones and greeting visitors
- Maintain accurate employee records, files, and HR databases
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, including preparation of employment documentation
- Support benefits administration and respond to employee benefit inquiries
- Coordinate and track employee training, certifications, and compliance requirements
- Assist with garnishments and medical support notices
- Prepare HR reports, audits, and documentation as requested
- Provide administrative support for employee relations matters
- Assist with policy communication and ensure consistent application of company policies
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive employee information
- Provide general administrative support to the HR department
- Handle employee inquiries (written and verbal) with professionalism and discretion
Required Experience:
- Bachelors degree preferred or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of experience in human resources or administrative support
- Strong understanding of HR processes including onboarding, benefits, and compliance
- Experience maintaining employee records and HR documentation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and support multiple priorities
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in a compliance-driven or regulated environment
- Familiarity with HRIS systems and reporting tools
- Experience supporting audits or HR compliance initiatives
