Position Overview

We are currently hiring incumbent Security Officers to continue supporting site operations under Velociti Services. In this role, you will help maintain a safe and secure environment by monitoring premises, controlling access, and responding to incidents.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and authorize entrance and exit of employees, visitors, and vendors
• Patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security of the premises
• Observe and report suspicious activity, incidents, or hazards
• Respond to alarms, emergencies, and disturbances
• Complete daily activity logs and incident reports
• Enforce site rules, policies, and safety procedures
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a professional presence

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous security experience is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and situational awareness
• Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Must be able to stand/walk for extended periods

Requirements:

• Must pass a background check
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
• Must be eligible to work in the United States
• Must comply with all site-specific and company policies

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

• Ability to patrol large indoor and outdoor areas

• Ability to observe and respond quickly to changing conditions

• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds if required
