Hyperion Solutions is currently seeking an experienced IT Support Technician to join our Information Technology team based out of Richmond, IN. Reporting to the Director of IT, this position plays an integral role in supporting the day-to-day technology operations of the company by providing end-user technical support, provisioning and maintaining endpoint devices, and assisting with IT infrastructure across multiple locations.
The IT Support Technician will serve as the first point of contact for user support requests and will assist with device deployments, troubleshooting, and IT operations across the organization. Success in this role means ensuring employees have reliable access to the systems, devices, and technology required to perform their jobs efficiently while helping maintain a secure, well-managed IT environment.
Primary Responsibilities:
End User Support
Provide technical support for employees across multiple locations including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals.
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues through the IT ticketing system and remote support tools.
Device Provisioning & Lifecycle Management
Build, configure, and deploy new employee workstations and laptops.
Manage device inventory and assist with the lifecycle of company technology assets including deployment, replacement, and decommissioning.
User Account & Access Support
Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes including account setup, device preparation, and access provisioning under the direction of IT leadership.
Support user access issues related to Microsoft 365 and other business applications.
Remote Support & Monitoring
Utilize remote management tools such as ConnectWise RMM and ScreenConnect to monitor systems and resolve technical issues.
Assist with patch management and endpoint monitoring activities.
Site & Equipment Support
Prepare and ship equipment to remote locations and coordinate with site managers for installations.
Assist with basic network, wireless, and equipment troubleshooting at company locations when needed.
Job Requirements
Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred
2+ years of IT support or helpdesk experience preferred
Experience supporting Windows workstations and Microsoft 365 environments preferred
Experience with remote support tools or endpoint management platforms (ConnectWise, Intune, or similar) preferred
Capabilities
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical users
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple support requests
Self-motivated with a willingness to learn new technologies
Ability to work collaboratively with team members and support staff across multiple locations
