We are seeking motivated interns to join our Charter Operations team. This is an opportunity to immerse yourself in the dynamic world of charter operations in business aviation, working alongside industry professionals and gaining hands-on experience in operational, strategic, and customer-focused aspects of our business.
As a Charter Operations Intern, you will support the daily activities of the Charter Operations team, gaining practical exposure to flight logistics, customer service, compliance, and operational coordination within a ultra-fast-paced aviation environment. This internship offers insight into the core functions of charter services, including trip planning, aircraft sourcing, and client interaction.
- Location: Teterboro, NJ (TEB)
- Schedule: June 1st target start, on-site, 20–30 hours per week (no overtime), hours between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
- Compensation: $20–$23 per hour
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant degree program (e.g., Aviation Management, Business Administration, Hospitality, or related field).
- Strong interest in aviation operations and customer service.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is an asset; familiarity with aviation software is a plus.
- Willingness to work traditional office hours (20–30 hours per week) on-site.
- Ability to obtain airport ID badge (required).
- Valid driver’s license.
- Provide administrative support for charter flight operations, including gathering required information and documentation.
- Review trip details to ensure accuracy and compliance with operational standards.
- Assist with aircraft sourcing and procurement for charter flights.
- Update and maintain fleet information, including insurance records.
- Support trip logistics by coordinating catering and ground transportation services.
- Demonstrate comfort and professionalism when handling phone calls and emails.
- Monitor and distribute emails from group mailboxes efficiently.
- Assist with pre-flight and post-flight preparations, including cabin readiness and amenities setup.
- Maintain accurate records of services provided, inventory, and any discrepancies or incidents.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to develop a comprehensive understanding of charter operations.
- Collaborate on meaningful projects that influence our business strategies.
- Conduct research, analyze data, and present insights to leadership.
