Position Summary:
UNM Press is looking for a student to helpwith various editorial and production tasks for 10-15 hours a week. The studentwill work with UNM Press's editorial, design, and production manager as well aswith the press's editor and designers. Work will include helping to style andformat manuscripts for transmittal, preparing preliminary castoff and costestimates for books, reviewing art programs, proofreading typeset proofs, preparingreprint materials, and assisting in uploading production-ready files. Thestudent will also take on additional tasks as they come up. UNM Press islocated on UNM's main campus.
