The Senior Manager, Revenue Accounting and Accounts Receivable will lead global revenue accounting and accounts receivable operations, including revenue recognition and reporting under ASC 606, billing, collections, and credit. This role partners cross-functionally with Sales, Deal Desk, FP&A, Legal, Tax, and Order Management to ensure accurate revenue recognition, efficient cash collection, and scalable order-to-cash processes.
This is a senior leadership role for a hands-on manager who thrives in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. The ideal candidate brings strong technical accounting expertise, operational discipline, and a collaborative leadership style, with experience managing distributed teams.
**This role operates on a hybrid model, with a mix of remote work and in-office collaboration at our Denver, CO location, specifically, working in-office a minimum of 3 days per week.**
- Lead global revenue recognition and reporting under ASC 606, including oversight of NetSuite Advanced Revenue Management
- Support sales and deal desk during contract negotiations, advising on transaction structure, revenue implications, and contract terms
- Review sales orders and contracts to ensure accuracy of pricing, standalone selling price allocations, SKU rules, and contract data
- Own accounting for costs to obtain a contract under ASC 340-40, including capitalization, amortization, and related policies
- Lead global billing, accounts receivable, collections, and credit functions, managing a remote and distributed team
- Manage timely and accurate invoicing in NetSuite, including appropriate application of sales tax, VAT, and withholding tax in coordination with the Tax team
- Oversee monthly close activities for revenue, deferred revenue, contract costs, and AR, including reconciliations and flux analysis
- Drive continuous improvement of revenue and AR processes to support scale and growth
- Maintain and document revenue recognition, contract cost, and AR accounting policies and internal controls
- Ensure compliance with SOX requirements, GAAP reporting standards, and audit expectations
- Serve as a key point of contact for internal and external auditors, supporting timely completion of audit requests
- Lead cross functional initiatives, system enhancements, and special projects related to quote to cash processes
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required, CPA preferred
- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in a SaaS or software environment
- Deep experience with ASC 606 revenue recognition, including complex contract arrangements
- Experience accounting for capitalized contract costs under ASC 340-40
- Prior people management experience, including managing remote or globally distributed teams
- Strong accounts receivable and billing management experience
- Working knowledge of sales tax, VAT, and withholding tax as they relate to billing and AR
- Hands on experience with NetSuite, including Advanced Revenue Management and Multi Book
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities

Expected salary range, depending on experience.
$140,000 - $150,000 a year
