Housekeeper-2nd Shift at Springbrook Behavioral Health System – Travelers Rest, South Carolina

Springbrook Behavioral Health is currently accepting resumes for the position of Housekeeper. In this role you will be required to perform a variety of basic housekeeping and custodial tasks, generally routine and/or repetitive in nature, requiring the use of a wide range of basic housekeeping equipment. The work area may be restricted to either patient or non-patient areas, but also can be a combination of both.

EDUCATION AND TRAINING: Must be able to communicate, understand and follow instructions. High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred but not required.

EXPERIENCE: Six (6) months experience in housekeeping required. Health care housekeeping experienced preferred.

PHYSICAL: Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time. Ability to lift and carry supplies.

SPECIAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Ability to work around and among mentally disturbed persons. Willingness to perform a variety of repetitive tasks on a continuous basis to maintain flow of work.

ENVIRONMENT: Will be working throughout the facility which is climate controlled. Noise may be minimal to high depending on activity/equipment being used.
