Maintenance Technician - Palm Beach County at Stockton Maintenance Group LLC – Greenacres, Florida

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a Commercial Building Maintenance Technician to join our team! Successful candidate will be a reliable individual skilled in the construction trades, with demonstrated experience in building maintenance and maintenance person services. You will be responsible for completing work orders and other required tasks. Area of service Palm Beach County.

Responsibilities:

• Complete work and repair orders in a timely fashion
• Manage time effectively, and perform work in a safe and professional manner
• Estimate time and extent of repairs
• Oversee work performed by outside contractors as necessary
• Prepare work order invoices and related documentation in written and electronic format

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in building maintenance and construction trades, i.e. plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, tile, etc.
• Familiarity with construction tools and equipment. Must have own basic hand tools
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening test
• Dependable transportation (truck or van) w/ active auto insurance (work vehicle provided within 60 - 90 days of employment)
• Valid Florida driver's license with clean driving record
• Must possess good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Deadline and detail-oriented
