Job Purpose

We are looking for an experienced L3 SharePoint & Microsoft 365 Support Engineer to join our global operations team. This is a technical support role focused on incident resolution, request management, troubleshooting, and platform administration for a global Managed Services Provider (MSP) environment.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SharePoint Online and Power Platform with strong troubleshooting skills, stakeholder communication, and the ability to support enterprise-level environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle L3-level incidents and service requests related to SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Power Platform, and other M365 services.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain SharePoint Online infrastructure including site collections, permissions, performance, and compliance.
  • Manage and resolve sync issues, outages, and performance-related problems across SharePoint and OneDrive.
  • Administer OneDrive for Business including backup, DLP, retention, and compliance policies.
  • Assist in transitioning Nintex forms/workflows to Power Apps and Power Automate flows.
  • Maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Act as an escalation point for junior support staff and contribute to process improvement within the operations team.
  • Ensure adherence to ITIL processes for incident, problem, and change management.

Must-Have Technical Skills:

SharePoint Online:

  • SharePoint Admin Center operations, site collection provisioning, webpart design.
  • Permissions and compliance management (tenant, site, and item level).
  • Performance troubleshooting, outage handling, and diagnostics.

OneDrive for Business:

  • Deep understanding of OneDrive sync, retention policies, backup/recovery.
  • Troubleshooting sync issues, large file uploads, and connectivity errors.

Power Platform (Power Apps & Power Automate):

  • Build and support Canvas and Model-Driven apps.
  • Develop complex flows (approvals, automation, error handling).
  • Migrate workflows from Nintex to Power Automate.

Other Microsoft 365 Tools:

  • Experience with Exchange Online, Teams, Azure AD, Microsoft 365 Admin Center.
  • PowerShell scripting for M365 service management.
  • Familiarity with tools like ShareGate for migrations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert OR equivalent experience.
  • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform App Maker / Security Administrator Associate.
  • Experience in a Managed Services Provider (MSP) or global IT operations environment.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting mindset.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication for stakeholder interaction.
  • Able to work independently and mentor junior engineers.
  • Comfortable working in rotational shifts (if required) and ticket-based environments.

Educational Qualifications:

Four years of college resulting in a bachelor’s degree or equivalent
