IT Technician Intern

Job Summary

The IT Technician Intern will assist the IT team in providing technical support, maintaining systems, and ensuring smooth operation of hardware, software, and network infrastructure. This entry-level role is designed to offer hands-on experience in troubleshooting, system maintenance, and customer service within an IT environment, while supporting the intern’s growth in technical skills and professional development.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Support: Assist in resolving basic hardware and software issues for end-users, including troubleshooting desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
• Hardware Setup: Assist in setting up and deploying workstations, including cabling, peripheral connections, and equipment inventory.
• Documentation: Update IT inventory or documentation as needed.
• User Assistance: Provide basic training or guidance to employees on software tools or systems when requested.
• Team Collaboration: Work alongside IT staff on projects such as system upgrades.

Qualifications:

• Education: Currently pursuing a degree/certificate in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
